Our range of high-precision capacitive moisture sensors help customers to measure trace moisture in their process applications, whilst our relative humidity transmitters and relative humidity and temperature sensors are widely used in HVAC applications, pharmaceutical storage and other production processes where controlled environmental conditions are crucial.
Our humidity calibration systems, together with our reference dew point hygrometers, enable customers to carry out calibration of portable hygrometers and relative humidity instruments in-house, saving on expense and downtime.

Process Analyzers
Our wide range of process analyzers can be designed to your specification and can comprise anything from a base hydrocarbon or moisture measurement unit through to a combined hydrocarbon and moisture analyzer. Offered complete with a custom designed sample system, they can be built into housings/cabinets certified for use in hazardous environments through CSA and ATEX. This range is developed around Michell’s hydrocarbon dew-point technology, that utilizes the patented Dark Spot Principle, a technique radically different from that of any other chilled/cooled mirror system.
Dew-Point Transmitters
Our sensors are developed using advanced ceramic moisture sensor technology. Operation of the sensor depends upon the absorption of water vapor into a porous non-conducting space between two layers built on top of a base ceramic substrate. The result of this means that the sensor responds very rapidly to change in applied moisture, both when being dried and when called into action if there is moisture ingress into a process.
Portable Hygrometers
The portable range are easy to operate instruments, designed for fast, accurate and stable measurement of dew point, relative humidity and moisture concentration. They are built to a rugged construction suitable for demanding industrial applications. All Michell's range of portable and hand-held instruments are traceable to National Standards.

Chilled/Cooled Mirror Instruments
Michell Instruments' Chilled/Cooled Mirror dew-point hygrometer are precision instruments for critical measurement and control applications. The fundamental nature of this method means that Chilled/Cooled Mirror instruments can be used as either extremely reliable and stable field instruments or as laboratory reference standards for the calibration of other devices. Michell provides Chilled/Cooled Mirror instruments for many different applications and industries.

Michell Instruments offers a wide range of humidity and temperature measuring sensors and instruments, including relative humidity transmitters, humidity and temperature transmitters, handheld indicators and humidity generators.
Oxygen Analyzers
Michell Instruments' Oxygen Analyzers use a selection of recent technologies each suited to a different set of applications. The analyzers of the XZR400 and XZR500 series are based on the unique MSRS Zirconium Oxide technology for accurate and repeatable oxygen concentration measurement. The XZR400 is designed for detecting oxygen in clean gases while the XZR500 is designed for flue gas analysis. Due to their patented metallic sealed reference Zirconium Oxide Sensor there is no need for reference air making the installation of both ranges simple and cost effective.
