LEVEL CONTROL BY PRESSURE MEASUREMENTLEVEL CONTROL BY PRESSURE MEASUREMENT

Hydrostatic pressure can be used for level control of liquids stored in tanks by measuring the static pressure the liquid applies.

Tecsis offer a range of sensors suitable for applications where a standard mechanical level switch or level sensor is not suitable.  This could be for various reasons i.e.: corrosive liquids such as acids, high temperature liquids used in food processes or clean environments such as pharmaceutical production.

By combining the sensor with the ‘weld-in’ thread adapter the sensing face is presented to the tank contents with an FKM seal to keep dirt ingress to a minimum.

The P3251 has two integral potentiometers for zero point and span adjustment to accommodate liquids with varying specific gravity and viscosity.
