The Precision Controls Division (PCD) of Marsh Bellofram Corporation has announced the global market introduction of the Type 1500 zero-based panel mounted electro-pneumatic pressure transducer, designed to provide low-cost precision control with low air consumption, in support of valve actuation and positioning, HVAC systems monitoring, material handling systems monitoring, final control elements, pulp and paper handling controls, liquid and gas processing systems, automation systems and other high-flow industrial monitoring and control requirements.

The new distributor DREYPLAS started market activities in November 2011 and has now launched its website www.dreyplas.com.

 

DREYPLAS GmbH (www.dreyplas.com) is a new but experienced player among the pan-European distributors. The company’s diversified portfolio comprises raw materials, additives and processing aids for plastics converters and compounders as well as for the producers of adhesives, paints and coatings, chemicals and building materials. The majority of its products are sourced from major and prominent manufacturers located in the Far East, often backed up by long-term supply agreements. Beyond the German speaking countries, the new distributor's activities focus on Poland (through its local affiliate PLASKOBEL SP.ZO.O in Lodz) and – supported by its own network of local sales representatives – the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Customers in other European countries are served from its Meerbusch headquarters or through local partners, depending on the specific product.

KSB increases consolidated sales revenue PDF Print E-mail

The Frankenthal-based pumps and valves manufacturer today publishes its Report on Financial Year 2011. The provisional figures show a new record in sales revenue.

In 2011, the KSB Group's sales revenue increased by 7.2 percent, exceeding the two billion euros mark for the first time. The pump and valve manufacturer achieved a total sales revenue of € 2,079.1 million and posted growth in the three segments – pumps, valves and service – as well as in all four sales regions.

Boardrooms in the dark over energy, says new research from Siemens PDF Print E-mail

One in three (31%) of those responsible for energy management in UK businesses say that the issue is not being taken seriously by their organisation, according to a new report published today by Siemens.

The Siemens Green League report, which reflects the views of 600 businesses, reveals a mismatch between the views of the board and their energy managers, with the boardroom much more confident about its efforts in energy management than those operating at the ‘coal face’. 83% of board directors believe that their organisation is, in fact, serious about energy management.

Newburgh Engineering has secured a contract win with one of the world’s best known engine manufacturers, Perkins Engines Company Limited.
