Interlube Systems Ltd is proud to announce the 100,000th worldwide sale of its market-leading AC range of automatic lubrication pumps.
Launched in 2002, the UK-made range - most commonly fitted to minibuses, coaches, trucks, buses and trailers – is a compact, electrically-operated, multi-line lubrication system, with three reservoir sizes.
The twin objectives of greater design flexibility and significant cost savings apply to many manufacturing applications and perhaps none more so than the medical and scientific industries. With this in mind miniature component specialists LEE PRODUCTS are continually developing high precision products to help designers and machine builders achieve their goals.
Amarinth, a leading company specialising in the design, application and manufacture of centrifugal pumps and associated equipment to the industrial, chemical and petrochemical industries has delivered an innovative open drain pumping solution to be installed in the caisson of the Kumul Oil Platform located 40km off the southern coast of Papua New Guinea.
At this year’s ACHEMA, KSB Aktiengesellschaft, Frankenthal, will for the first time present immersion pumps type Movitec VCl. These vertical, multistage centrifugal pumps are used for handling coolants, condensate and lubricants for machine tools. Potential fields of application include industrial recirculation systems, cooling water circuits, washing plants and pressure boosting in general process applications.
When it comes to servicing or replacing water pumps in commercial premises, engineers are inevitably going to be up against tight time deadlines. For AxFlow’s service engineers, the time available for replacing ageing cold water booster pumps in the Royal Ballet School’s Floral Street campus in central London was just 9 hours. And that was overnight.
The Upper School, adjacent to the Royal Opera House in Floral Street, is in almost constant use, even at weekends, making it impossible to shut off the water supply during working hours. Working with facilities management company CMS Limited, AxFlow drew up a schedule that would allow them to enter the premises at 21.00 hours, shut off the water supply and then start removing the three existing pumps and replace them with new energy efficient pumps. Most importantly, they had to ensure that the premises were completely vacated before work could commence.
Offering features such as record low energy consumption, the best quality available and a user-friendly wireless interface – a new generation of pump products code named Red Wolf will soon be launched onto the market by Grundfos. These innovations include new state-of-the-art circulator pumps that will contribute to strengthening Grundfos’ position as a world leading pump manufacturer.
Wilden®, the worldwide leader in air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pump technology, is pleased to announce the availability of its PX800 Advanced™ Series Stainless Steel AODD Pump. The new PX800 design is center-ported and features a full 51mm (2”) flow path and threaded 51mm (2”) horizontal fluid connections. This construction makes the new PX800 pump ideal for liquid-transfer applications where superior product containment, high flow rates and superior efficiency are required. Additionally, the footprint of the PX800 Advanced pump matches that of Wilden’s Original™ Series PX8 (clamped) Stainless Steel AODD pump, which enables “drop-in” replacement of an Original PX8 pump with no need to disturb existing piping.
In response to increasingly frequent requests for ATEX pumps and pump packages, Cat Pumps UK has developed and tested a full range of high pressure triplex pumps for use in Explosive Atmospheres.
