KROHNE introduces the new OPTITEMP TT 51 temperature transmitter, developed with Measurement Accuracy, Reliability, Safety and User Efficiency in mind.
Constant measuring accuracy over a long period of time is crucial when it comes to monitoring process temperatures. The OPTITEMP TT 51 features a newly developed electronic system that boasts a long-term measuring error of ±0.1 °C (for Pt 100) or ±0.05 % of span. Over a period of five years, the long-term error is just a quarter of the drift of comparable temperature transmitters. By using the Sensor Matching feature, the total sensor/transmitter accuracy can be further increased.
Omega's TX-M12 series of temperature transmitters are an innovative new range offering improved performance over conventional in-head devices. Housed in a rugged stainless steel enclosure, they provide fast, secure and watertight connections for both the sensor and the instrumentation. At a fraction of the size of standard head-mounted transmitters measuring 38mm diameter with a height of 20mm and weighing just 100 grams, they are ideally suited to a broad range of applications.
All New Design has Touchscreen, More Zones of PID Temperature Control, DIN-Rail Option, and Reduced Price
BriskHeat Corporation has released the Centipede 2®, the revolutionary temperature control system that economically controls multiple heaters in a system. With the Centipede 2®, each heater in a system has its own PID temperature controller and RTD sensor. Individual PID control improves temperature uniformity across a system. These controllers network together to a touchscreen interface for easy global programming and monitoring.
Under the badge of "intelliTHERM®", WIKA launches a new mechatronic product family, starting with the TGT70 thermometer. It combines, in a single instrument, an electrical output signal with on-site display - without the need for an external power supply.
MI3 1M and MI3 2M Series extends performance in OEM applications and manufacturing processes
Raytek®, a leading worldwide provider of infrared (IR) thermometry, has enhanced its MI3 Series infrared temperature measurement system with MI3 1M and MI3 2M high temperature sensing heads. The new sensing heads extend the MI3’s performance for specific original equipment manufacturer (OEM) applications and high temperature manufacturing processes.
The new TC-9D control unit incorporates a flow meter in addition to a thermocouple, for more accurate and reproducible operation of the Techne SBL range of fluidised sand baths.
With push fit connectors for fast and easy set-up, the self-contained TC-9D Controller enhances temperature accuracy and stability of SBL Fluidised Baths, achieving ±0.5ºC up to 300ºC, ±1.0ºC between 300 and 400ºC, and ±1.5ºC from 400 to 600ºC. A traceable calibration certificate is available for the TC-9D when supplied with an SBL unit.
The TR21 and TR22 series resistance thermometers, direct-mounted or with a thermowell, can be integrated into all standard processes. The quality of their hygienic design is verified by 3-A auditing and EHEDG certification.
WIKA has now expanded its mechatronic product range for process instruments with gas actuated thermometers with reed contacts. The newly-developed model 73 and model 74 instruments are suitable for a whole range of applications - especially for use with PLCs.
E+E Elektronik has added an additional passive temperature measurement function to the tried-and-tested EE85 CO2 transmitter for precise measurement of CO2 concentrations and temperatures in HVAC applications. CO2 and temperature measurement in a single device cuts installation costs for sensors.
