Hanovia’s PureLine PQ UV Disinfection System Wins Ringier Technology Innovation Award

-Hanovia wins Disinfection Technology category in Food and Beverage sector-

UV disinfection specialist Hanovia has won the Ringier Technology Innovation Award for the Food and Beverage Industry (Disinfection Technology category) at a ceremony held recently in Shanghai, China. The Award was given for Hanovia’s new PureLine PQ UV system which provides chemical-free treatment and water disinfection for the food, beverage and brewing sector. Hanovia previously won the Award in 2010.

The Ringier Technology Innovation Award is held annually in China and gives recognition to those who have made the most significant contributions to the industry though increased productivity, economic efficiency, production processes and the creation of market opportunities. The Award also demonstrates the companies’ continuous commitment to deliver quality products and innovative solutions to their customers.

“We are delighted to have won this award again” said Hanovia’s China General Manager, George Wang. “It not only provides recognition by China's food and beverage industry of the quality of our technology, but also shows our dedication, as the industry leader, to keep innovating and providing higher-quality products and solutions for China's food and beverage industry."

The award judges were composed of an independent panel of key food industry leaders in China, including Wang Wei, Vice Secretary-General of the China National Food Industry Association; You Xin, Honorary Chairman of the  China Food Additives and Ingredients Association; Huang Shengming, Vice Director of the Committee of Experts of the Chinese Institution of Food Science and Technology; and Liu Xiaojie, from the R&D Centre of Wahaha Group Co., Ltd, and Lu Xianghua, Secretary General of the Shanghai Frozen Food Association.

Hanovia’s PureLine range offers the food and beverage industry an entire suite of UV treatment products optimised to meet the needs of their applications. Standard PureLine models are available for the disinfection of water, syrups, brines and for the de-ozonation of process water (designated D, S, B and DO respectively).
