The METTLER TOLEDO InPro8300 RAMS

The taste and appearance of beverages, dairy products, syrups, sauces and condiments must be of consistently high quality. High speed packaging lines used in production mean that out of specification product needs to be identified quickly to prevent losses accumulating.

The METTLER TOLEDO InPro8300 RAMS (Reflection Absorption Measuring Switch) meets these needs as it can detect changes in colour or turbidity in real time. It can also be used to identify the differences between product, water or CIP media. This allows you to minimise or even eliminate flushing between products as well as recover used water for retreatment and re-use.

The InPro8300 RAMS turbidity and colour system can be used to:

  • Reduce waste by accurately identifying interfaces between different liquids
  • Increase quality by detecting changes in dilution
  • Increase packaging uptime by minimising water flushing between products
  • Protect the brand by identifying products prior to filling in finished pack
