An all new Sensors and Systems Show gains supportThere is an all new show in the 2011 calendar filling the need for a technical platform for the ever growing subject of sensors and systems. Called 'Sensors and Systems for Control and Instrumentation', the 2-day event will be held at the 5 star FIVE venue in Farnborough over the 14th and 15th September 2011.

Already the show is receiving strong support from exhibitors, well-known publications and distinguished engineering institutions, including The Profibus Group, the Institute of Measurement & Control, magazines Industrial Technology and Industrial Plant & Equipment together with the website Sensorland.com.

Phil Cooper, a Director of ESP KTN (The Electronics, Sensors, Photonics Knowledge Transfer Network) is actively supporting the show. He commented "This regional show compliments the aims of the ESP KTN, which carries out a wide range of knowledge transfer activities to underpin Electronics, Sensors, Photonics, Instrumentation and Control Systems technologies in the UK. The show also provides a valuable opportunity for the ESP KTN to increase its visibility and outreach to new members through the seminars it will be running during the event."

With this support from the industry, the need for a convenient exchange of knowledge and fulfilling equipment needs, positioning in the South of England within the proximity of several core companies, particularly in the defence industry, the new show looks set to be a extremely successful event for visitors and participants.
