Guttridge Ltd, the UK-based bulk materials handling company, will exhibit for the first time at this year’s Saudi Agriculture (31st International Agriculture, Water and Agro-Industry Show) in Riyadh in September. This move coincides with Guttridge’s plans to open a new office in Riyadh, from where the company will provide direct, local support to customers throughout the region.
Guttridge is an established and highly respected manufacturer of conveyors and elevators, and this year is celebrating 50 years in business. The company’s materials handling systems are used across a wide range of industrial sectors, including both the agriculture and food industries. Saudi Agriculture therefore offers an ideal platform for Guttridge as the show runs concurrently with Agrofood and Saudi Food-Pack, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from 24 until 27 September 2012.
“This is an exciting time for Guttridge as we look forward to establishing a new office for the Middle East, in Riyadh,” said Sales & Marketing Director Paul Gott. “We see this as a very important step in ensuring the customer support excellence for which we are known as our business continues to flourish in this region.”
All Guttridge conveyors and elevators are manufactured at the company’s large modern factory in the UK. Here engineers use the latest 3D design software and computerised production management systems, together with state-of-the-art manufacturing machinery including CNC laser cutters, press brakes, painting and assembly facilities.
“Much of our work in the Middle East involves delivering projects – systems rather than individual machines,” continued Mr Gott. “Here our close in-house control of the whole sales, design and manufacturing operation provides us with an unrivalled ability to meet our customers’ exacting design, delivery and quality requirements. In addition, our practical experience built up over many years allows us to offer reliable and completely current technical advice to assist customers in their choices and in the delivery of the overall project.”
