AUMA has supplied over one hundred electric actuators to Tianjin Port
AUMA has supplied over one hundred modular electric actuators to the biggest tank farm in Tianjin located in Tianjin Nanjiang Port. The installation is a landmark contract for AUMA due to the scale of the project and the fact that it is the company’s first tank farm commission in China.
The actuator supplier, which has an extensive base of tank farm customers around the world, supplied its valve control devices in SAEX and ACEX models with SIMA masterstations. The explosion proof and non-intrusive capability of the products, backed by redundant Modbus RTU communication, met the complex technical requirements of the scheme.
Owned by Sinopec Corp, the Tianjin Port Group and the Zhao Tian Hong Kong Group, the prestigious tank farm scheme is a significant chemical storage base in Bohai providing 950,000m3 of storage capacity.
AUMA reports that key reasons for securing the contract were the strength of its brand in the global petrochem industry, product quality, service, support and technical competency.
