Accurate weight controlled filling systems from Hosokawa maintain the highest standards of hygiene, dust control and product integrity. Stable and repeatable weight readings are given to meet exact container weight specifications even in arduous conditions.

Incorporating the proven inflatable packing head, the packaging system is quickly adaptable to a wide range of boxes, bags, drums and sacks. 

The extraction type packing head automatically removes dust emissions away from the operator for maximum safety from hazardous airborne product. The totally enclosed filling system reduces potential outside contamination which, when combined with an optional inert gas metering system, ensures the quality of sensitive or degradable products.

This type of mill operates on the principle of impact grinding and employs high rotor speeds with a striking edge velocity of up to 120 m/s. Size reduction takes place by the impact of material particles on the rotating grinding surfaces (hammers or pins) and on the fixed liner, or grinding track. Isolator Systems

Incorporating barrier containment technology in critical process areas such as milling, drying and product pack off, Hosokawa are able to offer containment levels of below 1µg/m³. Utilising individually designed processing equipment integrated within the sealed environment of an isolator offers a true 'shirt sleeve environment'.

Wet Sieving

Fast, accurate laboratory analysis applications on dielectric or cohesive dry materials such as carbon black or mineral fillers to determine fine particle size measurements.

Using enhanced vibration the Viblette delivers measuring times up to 1/3 that of conventional sieves. Unique shower nozzles deliver effective powder wetting with very little was liquid waste.

Sprinkler rotation, liquid rate and the amplitude of vibration can be varied and controlled to preset levels this ensures consistent repeatability and very accurate measurement of particle size.

The VibletteTM VBL can process slurries up to 10 litres/min. In addition to the standard 200mm drum size an adaptor is provided so that 75mm sieves can be used. Even 10micron screening is possible with the new Viblette TM VBL.

Heat energy is basically transferred into the product through a jacketed vessel wall causing solvents or moisture residues to evaporate. A rotating screw orbits along the vessel wall and helps the vapours to escape to the surface, at the same time providing a frequent exchange of particles in contact with the heated surface.

A Vacuum system keeps the vessel under constant vacuum and removes vapours from the vessel. Entrained dust particles are separated in a filter mounted above the dryer.
