Aero-mechanical conveyors comprise a continuous looped rope which travels through tubes with a series of equally spaced discs secured to it.
Ideal for vertical and horizontal conveying up to 25m, they can be configured to include combinations of both. Product degradation is almost negligible as it is carried within a moving current of air. However, no cyclone or filter is required to separate product from the air.
Typical maximum rates of throughput are: oats - 40 tonnes/ hr, milk powder - 20 tonnes/ hr and granulated sugar - 80 tonnes/ hr; even when installed vertically.
