UK plastics and food sector customers will benefit from one point of contact for all their mixing room technology requirements, announces Zeppelin System UK

Buying mixers from one source and bulk materials handling systems from another will soon be a thing of the past for the food sector.  Improving efficiency due to one point of contact, Zeppelin Systems UK are proud to announce that they are now responsible for the sales of Henschel Mixing Technology into the UK market.

Following Zeppelin’s acquisition of the Reimelt-Henschel group, Zeppelin Systems UK’s portfolio now includes the Henschel Mixing Technology range which has led the field of mixing technology for more than 50 years.

By February 2013 Zeppelin UK will take responsibility for the entire Reimelt Food Technology range.  The current agency agreement with Reimelt UK terminates officially on Feb 20 2013 but the latter half of 2012 will see a gradual handover to Zeppelin Systems UK.

Zeppelin UK’s managing director David Scott says

“Our take-over of the Reimelt business is a great step forward for food and beverage and mixing technology customers in the UK and Ireland. We are able to offer a much more comprehensive service directly from our base in Nottingham and that combination of German technology and local support will be a great benefit to the market.”

Zeppelin Systems UK was formed in 2007 when the Zeppelin group acquired the batching division of Chronos Richardson.

Zeppelin Systems UK provides high quality bulk materials handling systems to clients across a diverse range of sectors including:

  • Plastics
  • Rubber
  • Chemical and mineral industries
  • and now food and beverage

Their expertise spans materials intake, storage, pneumatic conveying, dosing and weighing, small chemical weighing, control systems and much more.

Whether it’s a turnkey system, a plant component or a control system upgrade, Zeppelin Systems UK can provide a solution. They offer a full range of reliable and efficient bulk material handling services at their UK facility in Nottingham – from design and manufacture to installation, commissioning, servicing and spare parts.

“These are exciting times and all the staff at Zeppelin UK are enthusiastic about the new opportunities we can now bring to the food and beverage and mixing sector.  Reimelt has also just opened a brand new food technology test house in Rödermark which adds to Zeppelin’s three other facilities in Kassel and Friedrichshafen,” continues Scott.
