Big Brother from Grundfos has it covered
The Grundfos UPS2 15-50/60 quickly established itself as a favourite small circulator after it initially appeared on the market in 2013
Post launch research indicated that there was also a demand for a larger 8-metre version and following a period of consultation and development, the UPS2 25-80 and 32-80 models were launched.
These models offer a number of distinct benefits, such as enhanced efficiency as they meet the strictest legislative demands, while the dimensions ensure straightforward replacement with older UPS generations.
Complete with their more powerful motors and coupled with improved hydraulics, they are perfect for use in a range of larger domestic and small commercial applications as they can cope with a flow rate of 5.7 m3/h and a system pressure up to 10 bar.
Ideal for both new applications or when needed to directly replace previous UPS 22-55, 32-55, 25-80 and 32-80 models, these circulators make pump option decisions straightforward as their curves and dimensions match the older UPS series of circulators.
With three constant speed curves and three proportional pressure curves, they can cover a wide variety of pump applications such as single and twin pipe heating systems and mixing loops. Additionally their compact dimensions makes them the ideal installation for tight-fit spaces.
With over 16 million electronically controlled Grundfos circulators installed globally, choosing a UPS2 option – big or small – makes perfect sense.
