Xylem, a global water technology leader, showcased a host of solutions designed to combat the toughest applications efficiently and effectively at this year’s Pump Centre Conference in Telford.
In line with 2018’s technical theme – ‘Resilience of Pumps and Pumping Systems’ – the stand included smart products such as the new Godwin NC150S dri-prime pump featuring N-technology, and the popular Flygt Concertor – the world’s first wastewater pumping system with integrated intelligence.
Xylem was also delighted to welcome guest speaker, Lars Uby, a Senior Applications Specialist from the European arm of the business. Lars offered visitors expertise on mixing/aeration systems for wastewater and biogas applications and also led a popular breakout seminar on adaptive mixing.
The session explored Xylem’s new Flygt 4220 adaptive mixer and discussed how the new technology could bring substantial energy savings, as well as reduced service costs.
Lars Uby commented: “I was delighted to be invited to attend this industry-renowned exhibition and to have the chance to speak face-to-face with our customers in the UK. It was fascinating to learn more about the challenges they face, discuss our solutions and demonstrate some of the latest products in our portfolio.”
