Process Industry Informer
Ezine Series

This year PII are launching a series of 5 focused Ezines to showcase suppliers knowledge, opinions, products & services in digital format.

The 5 dedicated Ezines will be:

  1. February - Process Measurement & Instrumentation
  2. June - Pumps & Pumping
  3. August - Process Control & Automation
  4. October - Valves & Actuators
  5. December - IT, Security, IIoT and Data Acquisition

3 ways to get involved:

1. Pages

You can use these pages as you wish, for either advertising, advertorial, product portfolio promotion, videos etc - it's up to you and we will make them look as creative as possible.

As you will see in our mock-up example below, we're aiming for the design to be clean and clear, linking to relevant pages on your site rather than long pages of text.

The page size will be square to maximise screen display (282mm x 282mm).

The options are:

  • 2 pages: £250 (additional pages £50)
  • 1 page: £175
  • Advertorial: £65
  • Product Focus: £50
  • Front cover: £250 and includes a full page within the Ezine.

Below is the first this series:

Supplier Comment
We are inviting suppliers to contribute to topics but in a slightly different format as per normal:

2. Your Comment

Each focused edition will include 4 related subjects and we are inviting industry experts to provide one detailed point which we will use to write a highly informative article made up from all the contributors. You can include images, graphics, videos & audio. (Contributors will be credited and have a direct link to their website once published online.

In our next issue in June, focused on Pumps & Pumping, the 4 topics will be:

1. When buying pumps from a distributor, as opposed to directly from the manufacturer, if problems occur should I go back to the supplier for assistance or the pump manufacturer. Should distributors be offering service and maintenance capabilities for the pumps that they sell?

2. Coping with vibration in pumps: what are the causes, what are the consequences and how can they be rectified?

3. How do I optimise pump performance, what issues can adversely affect pump performance and interpreting pump pressure curves?

4. What should I be looking for in selecting the most appropriate pump for handling potentially hazardous or corrosive liquids?

To reiterate: We are not looking for an entire article, just a single point of approx 300-400 words, which we will use to create an in-depth article with all contributors.

Ideally each point should be informative and as unbiased as possible. Suppliers can contribute to more than one of the topics.

We will be updating this with new topics for the remaining Ezines in due course.

Each issue will have a wide reach across our email database, social channels and website:

  • Emailed to our database of 15,000

  • Appear in each issue of our weekly E-newsletter

  • Shared daily across our social channels

  • Shared on our editor's LinkedIn profile frequently (5000+ reader connections)

  • Available on the PII homepage for 12 months
