Unlike many powder\/liquid mixers, which use vacuum to pull in powders, the Flashmix literally forces powder into the liquid stream. This not only allows it to disperse and hydrate large volumes of powders, it means it can be used at higher temperatures and with higher viscosity mixes &#8211; offering the advantages of high shear mixing to a wide range of applications that were previously not possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #959595;font-family: 'Helvetica W01', sans-serif\">A stainless steel sack table is available as an optional extra for models FMX25 &amp; FMX50<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #959595;font-family: 'Helvetica W01', sans-serif\">Silverson also offer the FMX-CD designed for aggressive chemical service. The FMX-CD is generally configured to suit specific customer requirements. Double mechanical shaft seals and flange fittings are standard. Elastomers, valve and motor type can be specified to suit the application. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #959595;font-family: 'Helvetica W01', sans-serif\">The Flashmix can also\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #959595;font-family: 'Helvetica W01', sans-serif\">be supplied with a powder feed suction hose for powder incorporation, rather than the standard hopper. This enables the machine to suck powders into the mix straight from their original containers, minimising handling requirements.
