A bi-monthly(ish) lighthearted insight into the world of PII's publisher Guy Ullmann's latest going's on, together with updates about PII and details of ‘What's coming up‘ in each issue
It's such a busy period at the moment, where I'm currently planning next year's media brochure & schedule, working on our final issue of the year, 3 brand new podcasts plus our latest Process Story, all whilst thinking about starting my pre-Christmas diet (which will never happen!) and planning my logistics over the festive period, so with less than 40 days until the big day, its all go!
It's been a reasonably quiet period since my last WCU with a few bits & pieces below and so for this issue I have made a very quick highlights video real, which I might start doing more of next year – let me know what you think!
My big news is that I do not need an operation on my knee injury hurrah!!! With some pretty intense physio and rehab, it should (in theory) heal by its own accord – here's hoping!
My highlight since the last issue was a short boys holiday with my cousin ‘Foxy' and good friend ‘The Curly Farmer' (Foxy in relation to his red mullet and The Curly Farmer due to his curly locks and because he used to live on a farm – original eh!?)
Elsewhere, I attended my first Pompey game in a while, where we scored a 93 minute winner to remain top of the league and unbeaten now in 27 games! Dare I dream of promotion???
I also witnessed one of the most astonishing games I've ever seen at my adopted club and despite having a semi-broken leg, I have managed to hobble around on some great trekking days and one or two ‘dancing' evenings…!
My first video short summary – Eek!
This advert I recently found makes a very good point and is very unforgettable.
Being digital-only we can include creative digital adverts in the issue and have an excellent video editor who can design and create eye-catching videos that will make you stand out.
In addition to being placed in the magazine, I would like to start a section on the website to include all digital adverts.
Below is a recent example our designer has made – get in touch to find out how we can turn your adverts into digital-masterpieces!
Our November/December edition of PII includes 7 features together with our Winter SHAPA news and usual columns from Sean and Gavin – Full schedule below:
– Sean Moran
– Gavin Smith

Since uploading our most recent Process Story on the 24 October, in under a month it has been viewed 366 times, with 3,646 event counts – indicating a very high level of engagement – as a marketer, isn't that what you want???
