A bi-monthly(ish) lighthearted insight into the world of PII's publisher Guy Ullmann's latest going's on, together with updates about PII and details of ‘What's coming up‘ in each issue
So let's get this out the way first…
It's not coming home…. againÂ
I've just about got over the disappointment of last Sunday, it was really heartbreaking stuff and of course it was fantastic to get to the final, but personally I think we set up too defensively, inviting Italy back into the game after such a great start, but there you go, another penalty loss – we really should be used to it by now, right?
I was lucky enough to be able to go to the quarter final against Ukraine, it was truly a fantastic day that I won't forget in a hurry.
I must confess I was almost as excited to go to my favourite restaurant in Rome, Pietro, close to the Pantheon, where they serve the most incredible truffle pasta – my absolute fav!
The entire day was full of good spirit, respect for the local community and lots of good banter between the fans.
It's such a shame the minority of muppets out there let themselves and the rest of us down at the final.
Surely the next stage of progression after the last two tournaments is to win it…..!
We've been very busy with our Podcast over the last couple of months, which Dave is really making his own and the most recent comment from one of our clients speaks volumes:
Since launching last year, in total, the podcast has received 7,499 downloads, which averages at just under 500 per episode.
