Air Coolers Meet Food Processing Hygiene Standard

Following the most recent comprehensive construction and production inspection, the air coolers of the SLIM, DUAL and CUBIC families continue to be HACCP TÜV-labelled.

All Güntner air coolers of the Compact product line have been in line with the HACCP criteria by TÜV Süd (German Technical Inspection Authority) already for years.

This is why they are best suited for use in the sensitive field of food production. The high quality and production requirements that are necessary for certification need to be checked in the scope of an annual comprehensive audit performed by an independent body.

With regard to the HACCP certification at Güntner, it is not only the constructional characteristics of the products that are checked but also the entire production process including choice of material, merchandise management system and quality management.

All the materials used are checked for suitability in the food sector by accredited laboratories and institutes. This ensures that they do not discharge any volatile matter to the environment via the air during operation, hence retaining the quality of the foodstuffs.

The HACCP-certified units are best suited for hygienically sensitive areas. The inner as well as the outer drip tray can be hinged for inspection and cleaning.

Edges at an angle of 45° provide best cleanability and ensure that dirt traps cannot form. In addition, the outer tray is thermally decoupled to prevent the formation of condensation water at the outside of the unit right from the start.
