ASCO Numatics simplifies product selection with on-line configurators

Listen to this article

ASCO Numatics new on-line configurators, enable the user to quickly generate product codes and downloadable CAD drawings for distribution islands and pilot valves for applications in the process industry. There is also a configurator to help define complete solutions for dust collector installations. These handy, on-line tools are easy to use and are designed to help the user identify the best product for a particular application.

The configurators take the user through the selection process in easy steps – identifying products from the preferred range and available on short lead times. This provides flexibility for users to modify their selection accordingly.

For example, the pilot valve configurator enables the user to make simple choices for variables such as connection size and type, body material, pilot method etc. The result is an ASCO Numatics catalogue number for easy ordering. The configurator can also be used in reverse to display a valves specification by entering its part number. The full details of the valve are shown, split into individual sections for the valve and the solenoid.

The ASCO Numatics configurators are available by selecting ‘Configurators’ in the ‘Tools’ menu at www.asconumatics.co.uk
