BEKOMAT 3XU – the upgrade versions of BEKOMAT 31-33

Listen to this article

Better, Best, BEKOMAT!
In 1982 Berthold Koch revolutionised the treatment of compressed air condensate with his first version of the BEKOMAT, electronic, level sensing, zero-loss drain. Since then there have been more than 2,000,000 BEKOMAT’s sold and of course many competitive versions launched.

So more than 30 years later, product management in Neuss Germany realise that there are no quantum changes possible on BEKOMAT. Therefore their job involves a regular sounding in the market place with customers, service engineers, salesmen and BEKO TECHNOLOGIES subsidiaries to find out, “what are the incremental changes that we can make to improve the product across all disciplines?”
The conversations have resulted in the launch of the BEKOMAT 3XU, upgrade of the BEKOMAT 31-33 series.
The key improvements are:-

  • Multi voltage power supply unit covering low voltages 100-125 Vdc/ 95-240 Vac or extra low voltage 18-72 Vdc/ 24-48 Vdc
  • Improved protection class IP67
  • Blinking LED as service indicator
  • Top cover with 2-3 screws
  • Higher temperature range up to 70 C
  • Compatible service unit, a news service unit that fits previous sensor units
  • Assembly support
