Pump Success Move as Borger UK Accelerates Growth in Shrewsbury

Borger UK, a leading pump manufacturer in the UK, which has firmly established itself as a trusted industrial and municipal pump brand since its foundation in Staffordshire in 2004, has relocated to significantly larger, brand‑new premises in Shrewsbury.

Under the leadership of Managing Director David Brown, who originally launched Borger UK from his home near Wolverhampton, the company’s remarkable growth across industrial, municipal, agricultural and biogas sectors has secured it a major share of the UK pump market.

The strategic move from the company’s long‑standing base in Gailey, where it operated for more than 15 years, places Borger UK in a spacious unit of more than 9,000 sq. ft at the prestigious Stadium Point Business Park on the south side of Shrewsbury.

By doing so Borger UK becomes the first company to complete an ownership deal at the new energy‑efficient Stadium Point development, which supports future growth and expansion for companies within the region’s expanding commercial landscape.

David Brown, Managing Director of Borger UK at the new Stadium Point.

To be honest we’d long outgrown our former building,” said Borger UK’s MD, David Brown, “but we’d been waiting for just the right premises and location.

Stadium Point, with its layout, quality of build and long‑term potential fits the bill for us, perfectly.

I want to thank my incredibly loyal team here at Borger UK for all their hard work and commitment in helping us achieve this landmark moment in our company history.

The move to much bigger premises is a huge milestone for us, and with sales still increasing year‑on‑year, the future for Borger UK continues to look very bright indeed.”

Stadium Point Business Park, the largest commercial development yet from Morris Property, occupies a prime 28‑acre site with 35 high quality units, offering excellent connectivity and supporting infrastructure for growing UK enterprises.

Borger UK’s relocation marks a significant step in its UK industrial pump strategy, strengthening its ability to serve expanding markets in wastewater, biogas, agriculture and municipal pumping solutions while benefiting from the modern facilities and future‑proof design of Stadium Point.

This move underlines Borger UK’s commitment to long‑term growth in the UK pump industry, reinforcing its reputation for high‑performance pumps and macerators across multiple sectors.
