Brenntag Turns to Verder in Hour of Need

Listen to this article

Brenntag, the leading full-line chemical distribution company, recently called on Verder’s expertise when one of its lined pumps failed. The company contacted Verder and a local engineer was on site the same day. After some inspection, it was established that the pump failure was due to dry running.

Having diagnosed the problem Verder advised on the best solution and ordered a new pump on Monday. By Friday of the same week a complete replacement pump wet-end was supplied and installed. The quick response allowed Brenntag to restart production in time to fulfill a number of critical contracts.

Mike Heap, Verder Sales Director explains: “Verder invests a lot of time and money in getting our existing and new products right, but we also place a lot of importance on the experience and knowledge of our team. We know it’s this added level of support that our customers value and rely on – especially when things go wrong.”
