TechED EMEA 2018 once again proves itself to be the EMEA region’s premier training and educational event
With visitor numbers significantly up on last year’s event, TechED EMEA has once again proved a massive success. Delegates from all over the EMEA region attended the three-day event – part of a global tour of Rockwell Automation-hosted training events – to learn the very latest about digital transformations, smart technologies, and the Connected Enterprise.
With over 250 hours of training across 150+ sessions – covering the entire automation, process, safety and motion, information solutions universe – attendees were left in no doubt that Rockwell Automation has reinforced its position as the partner of choice for Industry 4.0 evolution and smart technologies.
In addition to the educational streams, highlights this year included keynote speeches from Thomas Donato, President of Rockwell Automation in the EMEA region, Florian Harzenetter, Business Development Director at PTC and James Lyne, a cybersecurity expert.
PTC’s involvement at this year’s event reflects the background behind the two company’s recently announced strategic partnership, which will support how companies around the world transform their physical operations with digital technology – giving them insight into their operations through “a single pane of glass.”
In addition to PTC, Rockwell Automation also welcomed many of its PartnerNetwork partners who supported the training programme with classes and presentations covering their areas of technology and expertise and how they work in harmony with Rockwell Automation technology and solutions.
Next year’s event – between the 22nd and 24th October, in Munich, Germany – is predicted to be even bigger and better and potential attendees are advised to block out their diaries now.
