British Safety Council launches three new first aid qualifications

Considering the vital importance of first aid skills in the workplace, which can mean the difference between life and death, as well as health and safety training providers’ needs to be able to offer a full suite of training courses, the British Safety Council has launched three new first aid qualifications.

These are:

Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
This qualification is designed for individuals wishing to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace and is typically delivered over a one day session.

Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work
Developed for individuals wishing to act as a first aider in their workplace, this qualification is usually delivered over three days.

Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid
Students of this course will gain the essential skills and knowledge required for providing first aid to children and infants. This qualification is typically delivered over three days.
