R+L Hydraulics GmbH introduces a line of cast aluminium hydraulic reservoirs with nominal size NG 130 and a range of smaller sizes. These oil reservoirs offer excellent cooling performance and convenient handling due to their light weight.
They are unpainted stacking items for convenient logistics on the part of UK-based industry customers and reduced ancillary cooling requirements.
The aluminium tanks have an effective volume of 123 litres. The NG 130's thin-walled construction provides an engineered cooling capacity of 2.1 kW when Δt = 40 °C.
“This is the only aluminium tank of its type. In most applications, there is no need to install an oil cooler,” comments Patrick Laupitz, sales manager at R+L Hydraulics in Germany. “Other advantages are the light weight of the containers just 25 kg and their facility for handling and stacking that minimize the transport cost and storage space.”
Alongside the large NG 130 model, R+L Hydraulics also offers hydraulic tanks from a working capacity of 3 litres. All of the tanks can be supplied with extra accessories such as lids, oil level gauges, cast feet swivel castors and filling and breathing filters. The NG 130 also comes with baffle plates.
R+L Hydraulics produces, makes and markets a comprehensive range of fluid technology and power transmission components. The product range includes industrial couplings, hydraulic accessories, bell housings, damping elements, heat exchangers and coolers.
