Oil / Air coolers, may be used for cooling the return flow oil in hydraulic systems by directing a flow of air through a cooling matrix by means of a fan driven by either an electric or hydraulic motor.

Our range will cater for oil flows up to 560 litres / min and dissipations of up to 5.4 kW per degree Celcius of oil / air temperature differential. Optionally available with internally mounted by pass valve for increased unit protection.

Units are also available for mobile applications with air / water and air /oil cooling sections in a single assembly and air / air units for compressors and units with integrated surge reservoirs for closed loop circuit applications.

>> Offline cooling systems, may be used in applications when cooling of the return flow oil in a hydraulic system is not possible. The electric motor driven fan also drives an integrated oil circulation pump which will give a consistent performance with low noise levels and dissipations up to 0,6 kW per degree Celcius of air / oil temperature differential.

>> KPV series bellhousing coolers << (pages 45, 46 + 47), to close couple virtualy any hydraulic pump to an electric motor (up to and inclusive of a D180 Frame size) with integral cooling matrix and cooling fan that fits onto the electric motor drive shaft.

For applications where low levels of cooling are required and space is at a premium. No additional electrical installation being required.

>> Water / oil coolers in the traditional shell and tube design where the cooling media may be fresh or sea water. With maximum oil flows up to 850 litres/min and dissipations up to 300 kW, supplied with optional thermostatically controlled water valves which can greatly reduce water consumption rates.

>> Plate heat exchangers available as either brazed or gasketed plate designs for operating pressures up to 30 bar. Manufactured from a wide range of plate materials to suit the most agressive fluids.

Plate heat exchangers offer a high efficency from a compact, space saving unit and can be designed to meet specific application requirements, as such there are no limitations on fluid flow rates and dissipations.

Special materials available on request.

The above are complimented by a range of cooling circuit accessories
