DEPA® LAUNCHES NEW E4 COMPOUND DIAPHRAGM

Listen to this article

DEPA® pumps are introducing a new E4 compound diaphragm to suit their entire current operating range – WITH EXCEPTION FOR the PM series, and the DH series of pumps [currently]. During tests throughout development and pre-launch trials, the diaphragm has consistently shown the hugely increased benefit of its redesign to diaphragm technology, and also air operated diaphragm pumps in general.

It is constructed as a single unit using a combination of PTFE & EPDM and simplifies the mechanical internals of the pump by placing the outer piston plate WITHIN the diaphragm, effectively encapsulating it. This in turn means a few obvious and simple facts: increased life-span of the diaphragm, higher safety and efficiency ratings, AND ultra clean hygiene levels with its new all in one, non-pitted design, meaning fluid particles have nowhere to lurk!

All this equates to a saving in air flow consumption and also therefore energy – and further STILL – YOUR BILLS! This is a diaphragm that needs changing less frequently and saves you operation downtime, maintenance and money. No wonder its been dubbed by industry insiders as “a new generation of diaphragm”. The sizes at the current time range from 1/2″ (Half inch) up to 2″ (two inch) on all units EXCEPT the PM range and the DH range.
