DMN-WESTINGHOUSE future-proof through modernising production sites

Listen to this article

For over forty years, DMN-WESTINGHOUSE has been manufacturing high-quality metering rotary valves and diverter valves for the dry bulk industry.  With recently robotized production sites and a strong focus on innovation, this global company is ready to meet the challenges of the future.

In a time when the world population continues to grow, a forward-looking approach is essential. In addition to its own production facilities in the Netherlands and Germany, sales offices in France, the UK, Germany, the US, and India, and an assembly line in the US, DMN-WESTINGHOUSE has a worldwide network of distributors, enabling us to be represented in more than 70 countries across all continents.

We have the capacity to undertake very large projects. We specifically focus on markets with growth potential. In addition to key sectors such as dairy and food, we have also seen tremendous growth in pet food since the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Increasing demand

According to United Nations figures, the world population may be as high as 9.7 billion by 2050, rising further to 11.2 billion by 2100. This exponential growth is leading to increasing demand for food and other essential products such as infant formula, coffee, and pet food. This, in turn, increases pressure on producers, driving demand for more efficient production processes.

Modernisation of the production process

At DMN-WESTINGHOUSE, we understand the impact of this increasing demand. That is why we have invested in fully modernizing our factory,  using multifunctional machines that can combine different operations and optimize production.

Custom solutions

DMN-WESTINGHOUSE serves a wide range of industries, including the food, aquaculture, battery industry and paint industries. We understand the specific challenges of each industry and work closely with our customers to provide customised solutions.

Our advanced metering rotary valves and diverter valves play a crucial role in the production process, enabling companies to increase productivity and ensure quality. Modernisation also brings significant benefits to the dairy industry.

Robotic machinery

With nearly 40 years of experience and a recent shift to robotic machinery, DMN-WESTINGHOUSE is ready for the future. We pride ourselves on our innovative approach and are committed to helping our customers remain successful in a rapidly changing world.
