Dow Performance Fluids and Univar Europe to launch new distribution platform for Low Temperature Heat Transfer Fluids in Europe

Dow’s Performance Fluids business announced that it has extended its marketing relationship with Univar Europe for Low Temperature Heat Transfer Fluids (DOWCAL™ 10, DOWCAL™ 20 and DOWCAL™ N).

Beginning March 1, 2009, Dow and Univar Europe will launch a distribution platform that will serve the following countries in Europe:  Norway, Sweden, Denmark, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal and Italy.   This platform structure will allow further brand development as well as faster response to customer needs. Under the management of Univar Europe, together with local Univar entities, Univar will provide sales and customer service including tailor-made dilution for order fulfillment to customers in each of the above mentioned countries. 
Dow and Univar Europe have moved toward this next stage in their long lasting distribution relationship in order to increase market focus, speed up implementation and further enhance the strong Dow Low Temperature Heat Transfer Fluids brand.
