ELFAB IMPROVES PROCESS MANAGEMENT ADVICE FOR CUSTOMERS

Pressure relief specialist Elfab has improved the level of technical expertise offered to its customers by adding a former process engineer to its sales department.

Graeme Melrose now advises existing customers on potential process enhancements and resolves technical queries, while helping new customers to choose the most suitable pressure management system for their application. Graeme also conducts telephone consultancies and customer site visits, and the latter in particular have proved highly beneficial.

“Customers are always reassured by a personal visit, especially when it concerns safety issues,” commented Graeme. “Very simple changes can often improve disc performance and sometimes a fresh pair of eyes can question things that have ‘always been done like that’.”
