Endevco increases warranty coverage to five years

Listen to this article

Endevco Corporation, a Meggitt group company and the leader in sensing solutions for demanding vibration, shock and pressure applications, has announced a significant extension of its product warranty program to five years of coverage.

Each Endevco product is now warranted to perform to its published specifications, under normal use, for a period of five years from the date of first shipment or the minimum period required by applicable law, whichever is longer. This expanded warranty program is effective with shipments from Jan. 15, 2009 forward and represents a substantial increase compared to warranties from other sensor providers.

Endevco products covered by the new warranty program include:

  • Piezoelectric transducers
  • Piezoresistive transducers
  • Isotron® (integral electronic piezoelectric) transducers
  • Pressure transducers
  • Microtron® (variable capacitance) transducers
  • Electronic instrumentation
  • Cables

“We are very proud of the reputation Endevco has built over many decades for superior quality, performance and reliability,” said David Kertes, Endevco Director of Sales and Marketing. “This major enhancement of our warranty program is a clear expression of our confidence in providing assurance to our customer worldwide that a commitment to excellence is our top priority.”

Additional aspects of the program include a warranty period for in-warranty product returned for repair or replacement of 90 days from the date of return shipment or until the end of the original warranty period, whichever occurs later. The warranty period for out-of-warranty product returned for repair or calibration is 90 days from the date of return shipment from Endevco.

Details on the Endevco five-year warranty and information on the complete family of Endevco products and services can be found at www.endevco.com.
