New European Motor & Drive Express Delivery Service Announced

Control Techniques and Leroy-Somer (CT & LS) have launched a new service, in Europe, designed to increase product availability and delivery speed to its customers.The new Express Availability service means a large range (0.09 up to 500 kW) of motors, servos, geared motors, drives, options and accessories are now available to be shipped directly to customer premises quickly and reliably.

In-depth research showed clearly the need for short lead times with drive and motor products. The majority of customers, expect deliveries within a minimum of two weeks, with some demanding quicker than that in emergencies. Perfectly adapted to match these needs, the Express Availability program is a strong and reliable commitment to ship our products in 1 to 10 working days with an optional express transport in 24H in Europe in case of emergency.

Express Availability helps CT & LS ensure its customers maintain continuity of production while minimising their requirement for on-site spares and stock. The short, clear and reliable lead times outlined in the Express Availability charter make it simple for businesses to reduce inventory and capital commitments.

The service is open to all customers, including OEMs, distributors and end-users, and covers most standard products, packages, options and accessories.  Through a specific URL or QR code, all customers have a direct access to the detailed lead time grids posted in our public website.

The Configurator, a comprehensive tool for product selection, will also progressively indicate the Express Availability lead time at every step of the product selection process. This dynamic tool is helpful for customers to configure products not only based on technical but also lead time specifications.
