Offers potential to extend oil drain intervals two to three times more than competitive synthetic oils

Designed to enhance performance and durability of rotary-screw and vane air compressors. Offers potential to significantly extend equipment uptime and operating hours. Extended drain intervals can help companies reduce oil disposal

ExxonMobil is introducing the Mobil SHC™ Rarus Series, synthetic oils engineered to help increase the productivity and durability of rotary-screw and vane compressed air systems.

During extensive laboratory and real-world testing, Mobil SHC Rarus Series oils demonstrated the ability to deliver outstanding protection against wear, rust and corrosion, even under extended drain interval periods that range from two to three times longer than competitive synthetic oils.*

In addition, testing results showed how Mobil SHC Rarus Series oils can maintain compressor cleanliness during the long haul by helping to minimise sludge, varnish and deposit formation, which can occur when compressors operate in extreme load and temperature conditions.

Using ExxonMobil’s proven, balanced approach to lubricant formulation, Mobil SHC Rarus Series synthetic oils are uniquely capable of helping companies to maximise the productivity of their equipment and generate valuable benefits such as reduced oil usage and disposal up to 67% when tripling the oil drain interval versus other synthetic compressor lubricants,” said Rainer Lange, Mobil SHC brand advisor, EAME, ExxonMobil Fuels & Lubricants.

Mobil SHC Rarus Series is available in three viscosity grades: 32, 46 and 68.
