FLOWCRETE FLOOR GIVES A BRIGHT IMPRESSION AT GUALA CLOSURES

An eye-catching industrial floor from Flowcrete is creating a bright impression at a manufacturing plant in Glasgow. 

Based on the Old Mill Park Industrial Estate in Kirkintilloch, Guala Closures is a world leader in the production of non-refillable and aluminium bottle closures.

1053 square metres of Flowshield SL, a self levelling floor capable of handling heavy traffic, was installed throughout the assembly area by Flowcrete approved contractor, Industrial Floor Treatments Ltd (IFT) of East Kilbride.

The industrial standard epoxy resin flooring, which was mixed in a stunning clipper blue colour, is ideal for production areas being seamless and easy to maintain.

David Paterson, Technical Manager at Guala Closures, said: ”A number of different floor types were looked at, including vinyl, but I visited a factory where exactly the same Flowcrete floor had been installed in stages over a number of years and it all still looked good.
