Former SAP Executive John Taylor Joins AspenTech as Vice President Sales Operations & Business Consulting for Europe, Middle East, Africa

Aspen Technology, Inc., (OTC: AZPN.PK)  a leading provider of software and services to the process industries, today announced that John Taylor has joined the company as Vice President Sales Operations and Business Consulting for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Taylor comes to AspenTech from SAP, where he served as Vice President, Process Industries EMEA. His executive leadership experience in enterprise software also includes 10 years at i2 Technologies, where he led a 130-member business consulting organisation focused on the chemical, oil and gas and pharmaceuticals industries.

In his new role, Taylor is based in AspenTech’s Reading, UK office.  His primary focus is to help drive EMEA revenue growth leading AspenTech’s sales operations and business consultant teams.

Taylor joins AspenTech as the company moves to expand its footprint in growing EMEA markets.
