GAST LAUNCHES NEW JUN-AIR MODULAR DRYER RANGE

Listen to this article

A new JUN-AIR range of high-purity, heatless desiccant air dryers from the Gast Group features a revolutionary system that combines filter and desiccant in one easily exchanged, externally-fitted cartridge to simplify maintenance.

iQdryer’s innovative design incorporates patented technologies and modern materials to deliver pulse-free, high-quality compressed air with increased reliability, lower running costs and simplified maintenance. It also meets the highest standards of purity and delivers air in accordance with ISO 8573:1-2001, Class 2 dirt and Class 2 water and has a 12 barg maximum working pressure.

Commenting for Gast Group, Adrian Lee believes the iQdryer is probably the most energy efficient dryer of its kind.

“By integrating inlet/outlet filtration into the desiccant cartridge, we have eliminated three external filters and drains which, together with the design improvements, has allowed us to reduce pressure drop through the dryer by 60% and reduce the power required by the compressor by 7.8%.”
