The Hogfors range of high performance butterfly valves are now produced in possibly the most modern valve manufacturing plant in Europe. The new eight million euro facility is located in the town of Salo in southern Finland it houses a 60 metre long five axis flexible machining centre which is capable of machining, with extreme accuracy, all the major valve components simultaneously, with the finished parts leaving the machine de-burred ready for assembly and painting.

The quality of the finished valve is now superior  to valves previously produced using traditional machines, so much so that Hogfors are now one of  a few manufacturers capable of offering a tight shut off metal seated double offset butterfly valve, while most competitors still need to offer expensive triple offset butterfly valves to achieve tight shut off. Hogfors investment allows them to offer a more economical product to the same or higher standard.

Hogfors PN25 rated butterfly valves have proven reliability in sizes up to 1400mm in a range of body styles including wafer, double flanged and weld end with metal or ptfe seats in carbon and stainless steel. Hogfors exclusive distributors in the UK are  CeeVee  Ltd who carry extensive stocks.
