High performance TFT displays for demanding applications

Hitachi Display Products Group (DPG) will be represented at the Embedded World trade fair in Nuremburg, Germany by local distributors Data Modul, Glyn and MSC. The three day Embedded World exhibition represents an opportunity to view the latest Hitachi Rugged+ TFT display solutions aimed at extreme industrial and embedded applications.

Designed and developed to operate in demanding and exacting environmental conditions, Rugged+ TFT displays deliver exceptional optical performance, through the use of Hitachi’s IPS technology, which delivers exceptional contrast, wide viewing angles and vivid, stable colours. All Rugged+ displays feature industrial operating specifications with high brightness LED backlights and will provide reliable, fault-free operation between -30°C and +80°C. Rugged+ TFT displays are designed for high reliability medical, marine, aerospace, automotive and industrial applications.

Hitachi’s Rugged+ TFT product line-up includes the following display modules: 3.5” QVGA TX09D04VM3CAA, 5.0” VGA TX13D04VM2CAA, 5.8” WQVGA TX15D02VM0CAA, 7.0” WVGA TX18D35VM0AAB, 7.0” WVGA TX18D37VM0AAA, 8.0” WVGA TX20D26VM0AAA and 12.3” WXGA TX31D38VM2BAA. Also on show a new 4.8” QXGA IPS Pro Rugged+ concept panel.
