IPS Helps Process Industry Fight Obsolescence

Utilizing Trinity”s award-winning software, IPS can migrate older versions of its Triconex(r) safety and critical control applications directly and automatically to the latest release of its Triconex application, preventing long-time clients” systems from becoming obsolete.

“Our innovative software automatically translates older Triconex code to current Triconex code, allowing IPS clients to easily upgrade to the most recent state-of-the-art safety and critical control system,” said Neil Crompton, managing director, Trinity Systems. “Trinity”s program provides automated translation and performs a circuit-by-circuit check of the client”s translated control logic. Thousands of individual automated tests are executed to verify that monitored responses are an exact match.
