Rockwell Automation is celebrating industry endorsement of its innovative iTRAK motion control solution
The technology was recognised by the industry as it picked up first prize at the Motion Control Industry Awards dinner in association with Touchwave Media. The event, hosted by television and radio comic Simon Evans, also sought to shine a light on personal endeavour, engineering advancement, commercial acumen and lifetime achievement.
iTRAK, from Rockwell Automation won the hotly competitive Technical Innovation category due to the revolutionary design and build of its independent movers solution for packaging and materials handling. By combining intermittent and continuous motion into an integrated solution, iTRAK offers its users a smaller machine footprint with reduced maintenance and changeover time, increasing throughput potential and flexibility.
Proud recipient of the award on behalf of Rockwell Automation was Kevin Wright, who also had a word to say for the awards evening itself: “We’re really pleased iTRAK is being recognised in this way by the Motion Control Industry – and equally pleased that this awards ceremony has brought motion control technology and solutions some of the recognition it rightly deserves.
