Low Energy Filters with A+ Energy Label

Listen to this article

AFPRO Filters announces the new Low Energy series air filters with an A+ energy label. This new A+ label is the highest rating according to the new energy efficiency classification by Eurovent, which was introduced on January 1st 2015.

The new A+ label places much higher demands on the energy use of air filters compared to the other Eurovent labels, and adds a new dimension to the filter efficiencies. In the past, air filters were classified only by their filter efficiency and this new energy classification is far more precise.
AFPRO Filters continued focus on innovations related to energy savings resulted in being one of the first companies in Europe to develop an energy-efficient air filter rated A+.
Joost Verlaan, Vice President AFPRO Filters: ”Lowering the energy consumption of air filters is our top priority as energy prices increase. While at the same time demands to reduce CO2 emissions get tougher, the challenge to combine both goals into one filter was what drove us to the launch of our new Low Energy (LE) series, starting with the PT98-XL air filter. We can now offer out clients an air filter that helps them reduce cost while securing the indoor air quality”.
The new Low Energy series from AFPRO Filters can be used in both new construction projects as for replacing air filters (All F7, F8 and F9) in existing ventilations systems. As this new filter is a compact filter, it’s taking up less space in ventilation systems and are often used in for example datacenters, industries, gas turbines and renovation projects where space is limited.
On a yearly basis the new Low Energy series can save up to 70%* energy cost per air filter (Comparing an F9 (E) to a F9( A+) air filter!
*This % can be calculated on a case per case bases, contact us for more information.
