Low Flow/ High Pressure Pumps ex-stock from Cat Pumps

Cat Pumps UK Limited has announced the introduction of a range of extra-low-flowrate plunger pumps fitted with single phase motors conforming to CE directives.

The first of these new pumps, now available ex-stock from the Company’s premises in Fleet, is the 2DX range. This provides pressures up to 140 bar at very low flow rates in the region 1.5 to 8 litres per minute. The CE marked single phase motors conform the new Non-Voltage Directive and are wound for European 50 hertz supply.

Originally designed in the USA for misting applications such as humidity control, dust suppression and odour control Cat Pumps are finding that 2DX pumps are suitable for an increasingly diverse range of applications where a quality-build, compact, high efficiency pump is required. By sourcing a motor that conforms to European directives, Cat Pumps are now enabling the UK market to take advantage of the many benefits that this pump has to offer.

Incorporating an integral pressure regulator valve and motor, the 2DX range comes fully assembled and tested. The pumps will be particularly attractive to OEM machine manufacturers who are currently using other higher flow rate triplex plunger pumps.
