The BelGAS division of Marsh Bellofram, a member of the Bellofram Group of Companies, has introduced the P1808, a pilot-operated relief valve or backpressure regulator for gas or liquid service as well as pressure relief applications in gas distribution systems.
Designed for maximum durability, Marsh Bellofram BelGAS P1808 regulator operation is controlled by the type of pilot installed on the unit. A PL82 series pilot regulator is used in backpressure applications and only bleeds when repositioning the main valve. A PL82B series regulator is used in pressure relief applications and exhausts the entire time that the inlet pressure is above the set pressure. Set pressure is adjustable using the set screw on the pilot. Units are compact with a choice of cast iron or WCB steel bodies, zinc-plated steel diaphragm casings and with a durable powder-coated epoxy exterior finish. Regulators offer installation versatility, and are available in a range of set pressure ranges and high flow capacities. These highly rugged features make the P1808 also ideal for use in gas or liquid service applications, to maintain pressure on oil an gas separators, and in pressure relief applications in gas distribution systems.
