Compact steam-to-water heat exchange system designed to provide hot water instantaneously up to 2100kW

The new ARI-ENCOsys is a well-engineered packaged solution delivered fully tested and ready for connection.  This latest addition to the ARI range of specialist valves and high quality process control products offers a compact steam-to-water heat exchange system designed to provide hot water instantaneously up to 2100kW, whatever the load conditions and without the need for a water storage vessel.

Nick Davies, UK Sales Director, explains: “Having no storage vessel removes a potential breeding place for legionella or other bacteria and eradicates the need for regular inspections. ENCOsys will control at +/-1ºC under steady load conditions and responds quickly to large or sudden load changes to maintain accurate control.”

ENCOsys benefits from a selection of standard equipment that differentiates itself from competitors and ensures high performance. The key components are precisely matched to ensure accurate temperature control under all load conditions and it rarely requires a bi-annual insurance inspection due to the low volume of the heat exchanger compared to a traditional shell and tube option. Heating the secondary water and sub-cooling the condensate in the same plate heat exchanger results in lower fuel bills and less CO2. Safety is also of utmost importance and ENCOsys comes complete with self-acting high temperature cut-out to protect the unit from over-heating and users from scalding.

ENCOsys is suitable for various applications including the generation of domestic hot water, low temperature hot water (LTHW) and process heating duties such as hot water hose-down, heat recovery and cleaning in place.  The system is ideal for small plant rooms with the largest unit occupying less than 3 square metres and the smallest, less than 1.5 square metres. All units are delivered fully assembled and tested ready for connection with minimal installation time.  A wide range of options is available and ARI engineers will be happy to visit and assess your requirements in order to recommend the best model for your application.
