New DipCAM qualifications boost compressed air specialists expertise

BOGE Compressors has enhanced its compressed air expertise and knowledge following the successful completion of the BCAS Diploma in Compressed Air Management (DipCAM) by team members Des Fuller and Joe Morley.

DipCAM is a distance learning qualification developed and awarded by the British Compressed Air Society. In earning the qualification, BOGE’s Fuller and Morley have gained a comprehensive technical grounding in the key principles of the operation, design and maintenance of compressed air systems – enabling them to deliver the highest level of support to customers.

“I couldn’t be happier with my new DipCAM qualification and for the opportunity to further develop my technical understanding of compressed air systems,” said BOGE Service Engineer Joe Morley. “The knowledge gained through earning this diploma will help to ensure we provide the best possible service to our customers and allow BOGE as a whole to continue to meet any needs customers may have both now and in the future.”

Commenting on Fuller and Morley’s achievements, BOGE Service Manager Andy Westwood explained: “Improving team members’ understanding and knowledge of compressed air systems and developing their skills is at the very core of BOGE.

Supporting Joe and Des through their DipCAM diplomas is fundamental to this, but it’s also important for our customers. The course material has proven to be invaluable to our other team members who have earned the diploma and we’re sure it will be equally as useful for Des and Joe in the completion of their day-to-day activities. In total, we now have six team members who are DipCAM qualified and we’ll be increasing this number soon.”
