New Explosion Proof Valves
Duplomatic have developed new explosion-proof valves, in compliance with ATEX 94/9/CE standards, which will be suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
The valves encompass groundbreaking design and manufacture to facilitate their use in high-risk environments, falling within the ATEX II 2GD either for gas or dust clarification. The direct operated valves are finished with a zinc-nickel surface treatment to ensure a salt spray resistance up to 600 h, demonstrated during tests operated according to UNI EN ISO 9227 standards with an evaluation according to UNI EN ISO 10289 standards.
As an exclusive Duplomatic distributor in the UK, Hydraulic Equipment Supermarkets will bring the new on-off and proportional versions to the engineering market. Not only will HES will stock and retail these valves from their four nationwide branches, the valves will also be available for inclusion in bespoke system builds by sister company, Branch Hydraulic Systems.
Stephen Penton, sales manager of Hydraulic Equipment Supermarkets, said; “We supply a huge range of products and components, accompanied by unrivalled technical expertise and guidance. Our customers rely on us to deliver solutions, often for hugely complex systems and applications, which is exactly what these new valves provide. In any potentially explosive atmosphere, the functionality and reliability of the components is critical, governed by the most rigorous standards.”
