New high capacity Ball Segment Valves with free-flow design

Listen to this article

Steam system and flow control specialists Valveforce have launched a new range of high capacity Ball Segment Valves that benefit from a free-flow design that minimises clogging.

Suitable for numerous control applications, the superior properties of this range help provide excellent tightness in closed positions.

Compared to other valve designs, these Valveforce Ball Segment Valves allow use of smaller and far more economical valve sizes, offering significant capital cost and ongoing energy savings.

The ball segment and shaft are also manufactured in one piece to give a backlash-free torque transmission – and even at high dfferential pressures, segmented bars and specially designed trims mean very low noise.

In combination with Valveforce’s pneumatic actuators and positioners the overall result is a highly flexible unit with a very wide control range.
