Mantracourt appoints Elexsys as technical partner for the sale and support of instrumentation products in Sub-Saharan Africa

Leading electronic instrumentation manufacturer, Mantracourt Electronics Ltd, has announced that it has appointed Elexsys as a technical partner for the sales, support and distribution of its range of wired and wireless instrumentation products in South Africa.

Elexsys is a leading supplier of measurement technology in sub-Saharan Africa, serving such industries as agriculture and mining.  Formed in 2001, its directors have been involved in the South African industrial weighing sector for over 35 years.

UK based Mantracourt designs and manufactures instrumentation for measurement technologies such as load cells and strain gauge amplifiers, which are used widely in industries such as Civil Engineering, Construction and Lifting and Handling. Its products are recognised worldwide for their quality, accuracy and Mantracourt”s high level of customer support and technical assistance.

“We are delighted to announce Elexsys as our South African technical partner. We are very pleased to have such a respected company assisting us in this region,” stated Louise Stubbs, Marketing Coordinator at Mantracourt. “Much of Mantracourt’s success has been built on working closely with our technical partners, helping us to understand their requirements and to assist them in using our products. The team at Elexsys is a very good match for this approach, having a high level of technical expertise and excellent customer service.”

Elexsys primarily services enquiries from South Africa and its neighbouring countries (Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Namibia) but also deals with customers in other sub-Saharan African countries, from Zambia and Angola up to Kenya.  The company supplies measurement solutions into agriculture, mining, automotive manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, construction, and test/research environments (such as SALT, the CSIR and local universities).

“We are very pleased to include the Mantracourt range of products within our portfolio,” stated George Chapman, Marketing and Sales Manager at Elexsys. “We are seeing a lot of interest in Mantracourt’s T24 wireless range of instrumentation and feel sure that this, along with their many other products, will open up new opportunities for us with both existing and new customers.”

Mantracourt has recently announced the release of its T24LOG100, a data logging software package that can handle up to 100 channels of wireless instrumentation data simultaneously whilst also offering a range of sophisticated features that will enable engineers to optimise system monitoring and control.
